Wizz Air plans additional Skopje base expnasion

Wizz Air plans to additional develop its operations from Skopje following the current announcement of 5 new routes and the deployment of its sixth plane on the airport from late October. The airline has reached an settlement with the federal government for a sixth subsidised service, between Skopje and Cologne, which is predicted to be scheduled shortly. This route will complement the beforehand introduced companies to Stockholm, Bari, Madrid, Larnaca and Prague. Cologne will turn into Wizz Air’s ninth vacation spot in Germany from the Macedonian capital and was final operated by the airline between 2014 and October 2024. In whole, Wizz Air can have launched 9 new routes from Skopje in 2025 whereas discontinuing six.

Along with launching new routes, Wizz Air may even enhance frequencies on choose companies from Skopje.
