This funding will speed up the corporate’s means to ship unprecedented insights that rework how crucial nationwide infrastructure is designed, developed and managed.

A brand new age of nationwide, centrally managed autonomous robotics

The funding cements sees.ai’s management within the distant seize of high-value aerial knowledge at nationwide scale, from a central management room. Supported by Boeing, XeleratedFifty and the UK Authorities’s Future Flight Problem, sees.ai grew to become the primary firm within the UK to safe Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) authorisation for routine Past Visible Line of Sight (BVLOS) missions in non-segregated airspace.

Constructing on this breakthrough, sees.ai has now secured a landmark contract with Nationwide Grid to examine, survey and monitor the UK’s electrical energy transmission community.

sees.ai’s proprietary know-how allows the distant operation of advanced, close-quarter missions nationwide round stay energy strains, oil and gasoline belongings, nuclear services, railways and different crucial infrastructure. The system captures constant, exact, AI-ready knowledge at scale – knowledge that was beforehand inconceivable to acquire – unlocking insights that may strengthen infrastructure design, high quality assuranceand operational reliability and resilience.

Scaling with new funding

With this funding, sees.ai is increasing its group and gear to help the rollout of its know-how throughout Nationwide Grid’s 7,200 km transmission community within the UK – a milestone in Nationwide Grid’s digital transformation journey and the UK’s vitality transition. The corporate will develop its headcount from 25 to greater than 35 this 12 months and scale its fleet to satisfy rising demand and unlock new use instances throughout the UK and Europe.

The precision and worth of the asset situation knowledge we at the moment are capturing is unmatched globally. This funding will speed up our means to ship exact intelligence at community scale, shaping how crucial infrastructure is designed, developed and managed. As one of many world’s first large-scale implementations of centralised autonomy, this deployment indicators the beginning of an unlimited interval of development and abundance, the place AI and drones redefine work, enhance effectivity, and empower us to higher safeguard our planet. We’re excited to have the help of those phenomenal buyers.”
