Aerospace engine aftermarket providers agency, StandardAero, has prolonged its relationship with SalamAir for MRO help for the CFM Worldwide LEAP-1A turbofan engine.

The brand new non-exclusive Normal Phrases Settlement (GTA) paves the best way for StandardAero to supply Oman’s low-cost provider with LEAP-1A efficiency restoration store visits (PRSVs) in help of the airline’s fleet of A320neo household narrowbody plane.

SalamAir’s chief government, Adrian Hamilton-Manns, mentioned: “As we speak’s announcement with StandardAero represents a key pillar in our ongoing LEAP-1A technique.

“As a fast-growing LCC with a 15-strong fleet of A321neo plane we require sturdy companions who can help our ambitions. The necessity for elevated engine help is essential to maintain our increasing fleet operational.

“StandardAero’s capacity to help fast flip store visits and their total strategy to assembly our wants place them as a key companion in our progress plan.”

Olivier Ruffet, vp gross sales EMEA and lessors for StandardAero’s airways and fleet enterprise unit, mentioned: “Having already inducted a lot of SalamAir’s LEAP-1A engines for quick-turn store visits (QTSVs), we’re grateful to the airline for the belief proven in us as we now prolong our help to incorporate LEAP-1A PRSVs.

“We worth SalamAir as one of many many LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B operators and asset managers from throughout North America, Latin America, Europe, the Center East, South Asia and the Asia-Pacific area to have chosen StandardAero for his or her engine MRO, and we look ahead to sustaining a partnership with the airline for years to come back.”
