The EL9’s means to hold round 450kg over 1,000 miles would allow it to be employed in an array of novel use instances for industrial and defence customers.
OJ Sanchez, vice chairman and normal supervisor at Lockheed Martin, stated: “Electra has pushed important innovation in hybrid-electric, and we’re excited to collaborate with them to speed up their growth”. The MOU builds on a earlier settlement that the 2 corporations signed in 2022.
