Challenge ULTRA Efficiently Completes Blood Supply – sUAS Information

GRAND FORKS, North Dakota—The Challenge ULTRA crew efficiently transported 18 models of blood 90 nautical miles in a past visible line of sight (BVLOS) demonstration for the Division of the Navy’s Medical Analysis Division and members of the 319th Medical Corps.

The “blood flights” observe the crew’s profitable completion of a activity order from the Division of Protection (DoD) concerning the mixing of Uncrewed Plane Techniques (UAS) in managed airspace. It was an “aspirational objective to show our capabilities,” Challenge ULTRA Director, retired Navy Cmdr. Chris Hewlett stated. “The Navy crew has finished this, however by no means BVLOS.”

Challenge ULTRA, which stands for UAS Logistics, Visitors, Response and Autonomy. The crew, led by Grand Forks County and GrandSKY, contains the Northern Plains UAS Check Website.
