Budapest airport provides new locations

Budapest Airport will enter Winter 2025 with document seat capability and passenger numbers, whereas confirming a number of latest locations, following a lift in tourism and enterprise development in Hungary.

Budapest Airport File Seat Capability and Passenger Whole

The airport will supply a document seat capability of 8.9 million seats, which represents a 12.5% improve in comparison with the 2024 winter season, which is able to present an enormous development of inbound passengers to drive tourism and enterprise development inside the capital.

In analytic insights following tourism development from Budapest Airport, research present that development to long-haul community locations akin to New York, Toronto, Hanoi, Bangkok, and Seoul with a 7% to 37% improve in journey calls for from Hungarian passengers.

The long-haul market has seen a drive with Hungarian passengers as a result of engaging nature of sightseeing, and locations within the winter, akin to Christmas markets, reflecting Budapest’s important rising function as a European Gateway.

Rising Drive of Passenger Tourism To And From Budapest, Hungary

Seven locations might be added to the community from airways: Jet2, easyJet, Ryanair, Wizz Air, and SAS. Jet2 will see operations from Budapest to Newcastle and the East Midlands, and easyJet will add two extra locations to Nantes, France and a brand new path to Bordeaux. Ryanair will function to Marrakech, while Wizz Air will start departures to Tallinn and Turin. SAS will start operations to Copenhagen in Spring 2026, with commonly scheduled flights.
