Alaska Airways continues its growth of worldwide operations because it introduced two new nonstop routes from Seattle. Starting in spring of 2026, Alaska will launch service from its Seattle Hub to London Heathrow and Reykjavik, Iceland. The service to London will likely be operated using Alaska’s Boeing 787-9 that have been acquired throughout the acquisition of Hawaiian Airways in 2024.

The service to London will likely be operated using Alaska’s Boeing 787-9 that have been acquired throughout the acquisition of Hawaiian Airways in 2024. Every flight will likely be geared up with 34 totally enclosed lie-flat enterprise class seats alongside coach service.

As a part of unveiling the service providing to London, Alaska additionally unveiled their new livery for the Boeing 787 fleet. Alaska’s hanging international exterior design will likely be featured on our rising fleet of as much as 17 widebody 787 Dreamliner plane inherited from Hawaiian. Alaska states that their new design is impressed by their heritage as they make a devoted effort to develop to new areas across the globe.

Reykjavik new flights will likely be operated from Seattle with Boeing 737-8 MAX plane.

These new additions mark Alaska’s fourth and fifth lengthy haul intercontinental destinators from Seattle for Alaska Airways. This service enhancement is a part of Alaska’s broader effort to introduce 12 such routes by 2030.
