Employees at Airbus’ UK websites which can be members of the Unite Union have postponed deliberate strike motion after a brand new pay provide was made by the European OEM.
Unite says that it’s going to poll its members at Filton and Broughton factories on the brand new provide between Friday, the twelfth of September and Friday, the nineteenth of September.
Unite nationwide officer for aerospace Rhys McCarthy mentioned: “Following additional negotiations with Airbus, Unite has secured an improved provide from the corporate. Our members will now be balloted over that provide.

Unite added that if staff reject the deal, industrial motion will resume on the twenty third and twenty fourth of September.
