Air Transat adopts Lufthansa Technik’s full digital suite

Lufthansa Technik has expanded its digital companies settlement with Air Transat, with the Canadian provider set to roll out the AVIATAR platform throughout its complete fleet – making it the primary airline in North America to undertake the entire Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem.

The settlement will see all 43 of Air Transat’s Airbus A321 and A330 plane built-in with AVIATAR, Lufthansa Technik’s modular platform for information and analytics. The digital suite contains functions similar to predictive well being analytics, situation monitoring, engineering analytics, and a digital technical logbook.

Having already applied the AMOS upkeep administration system in 2007 and adopted flydocs for digital data administration in 2024, Air Transat now completes the trio of options beneath Lufthansa Technik’s ecosystem.

AVIATAR was launched in 2017 and now helps over 5,000 plane globally. The platform’s modular structure permits customisation based mostly on every airline’s operational necessities. Among the many functions Air Transat will deploy is AVIATAR’s Technical Logbook, launched to the North American marketplace for the primary time by means of this settlement.

The logbook allows pilots and engineers to digitally doc technical points utilizing structured codecs and automatic enter fields, accessible through any machine and backed by offline performance.
