Riyadh Air to digitalise ULD fleet below Unilode settlement

Saudi start-up airline Riyadh Air has signed a long-term settlement with Unilode Aviation Options (Unilode) to supply complete unit load machine (ULD) administration and help companies.

The deal covers the availability of recent light-weight ULDs designed to spice up operational effectivity and sustainability, whereas additionally tapping into Unilode’s international restore community and full-service administration mannequin.

Riyadh Air will combine Bluetooth-enabled monitoring throughout its ULD fleet, supported by Unilode’s reader infrastructure, giving the airline real-time visibility, situation monitoring, and optimisation of property.

The settlement kinds a part of Riyadh Air’s progress technique forward of its deliberate 2025 launch. The airline expects to function greater than 180 plane by 2030, serving over 100 locations and contributing $20 billion to Saudi Arabia’s non-oil GDP whereas creating greater than 200,000 jobs worldwide.
