Firefly indicators up StandardAero for PW127M engine MRO

Aerospace engine aftermarket companies agency, StandardAero, has been chosen by Firefly to offer complete upkeep companies for its Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) PW127M engines.

The multi-year settlement will assist the Malaysian regional and a low-cost service’s ATR 72-500 fleet, making certain continued reliability and efficiency.

StandardAero will ship assist from its centres of excellence in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and Gonesse, France.

With over 4 a long time of expertise supporting the PW100 engine household, StandardAero additionally operates six strategically situated service centres throughout North America, South America, Africa and Australasia.

Captain Hamdan Che Ismail, chief working officer of Firefly, a subsidiary of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), stated: “Our collaboration with StandardAero beneath the pay-per-hour programme marks an vital step in strengthening the efficiency and sustainability of our ATR 72-500 operations.
