Etihad Airways indicators code-share settlement with SKY Categorical – Journey Radar

Etihad Airways indicators a code-share settlement with SKY Categorical. The settlement permits entry to 24 Greek island locations. The partnership enhances connectivity between Abu Dhabi and distinctive Greek locations.

Code-share settlement

The Greek regional service settlement with Etihad Airways supplies Etihad Airways entry to 24 Greek island locations, together with three further locations in Japanese Mediterranean cities, giving clients extra choices when travelling through Athens. This settlement additional extends Etihad’s community throughout Greek islands and the Japanese Mediterranean area. The settlement builds on the present interline cooperation between the 2 airways and is efficient on July 14, 2025. Arik De, chief income and business officer at Etihad Airways, stated: 

“This partnership with SKY Categorical opens thrilling new prospects for our clients to find Greece past Athens. SKY specific’s complete island community completely enhances our Athens service, giving travellers seamless entry to a few of the Mediterranean’s most stunning locations by means of a single reserving.”

Locations

In accordance with the settlement, Etihad will place its code on SKY Categorical-operated flights past Athens. That is to make sure seamless entry between Greece’s hottest island locations, a few of which embody Crete, Mykonos, Rhodes, Kos, and Santorini. Athens is a key gateway to many island locations. With Etihad’s every day service to Athens, the Greek capital serves as a key hub for onward island journey.

Among the many 24 locations are Corfu, Paros, and Thessaloniki. Clients can guide their flights by means of the airline’s web site or through the Etihad app. Etihad continues to broaden its European community, with Athens enjoying a strategic function in connecting travellers to Greece’s islands and tradition.
