Air France-KLM builds cloud-based gen AI ‘manufacturing unit’ to drive enterprise transformation

French-Dutch airline group, Air France-KLM, has partnered with Accenture and Google Cloud to launch a devoted generative AI (gen AI) manufacturing unit, designed to speed up innovation and operational transformation throughout the airline group.

The initiative, hosted on Google Cloud and developed in collaboration with Accenture, offers a scalable framework to check, handle and deploy gen AI, agentic, and machine studying fashions tailor-made to the group’s wants. The gen AI manufacturing unit is already driving tangible outcomes throughout areas together with floor operations, engineering and upkeep, and customer support.

The manufacturing unit permits Air France-KLM to establish high-value use circumstances extra effectively and roll them out at scale utilizing shared instruments, methodologies and cross-functional experience. The collaboration builds on earlier work between Accenture and Air France-KLM to modernise the airline’s digital core.
