Automated passenger communications specialist 15below goals to shut the communication hole between airways and airports with the acquisition of Airport AI.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, for the conversational AI platform will see it built-in with 15 beneath to develop a “unified communications resolution that spans the air journey journey”.

Brighton-based 15below stated the mixed resolution “will present airports with larger visibility of the passengers inside their terminals, ship a greater and extra responsive service and cut back labour and operational prices by a self-service resolution for buyer assist”.

The agency added: “Airways could have extra complete, conversational and contextual interactions with passengers, enhancing service and loyalty. Passengers will achieve entry to well timed, related and correct updates at each stage of their journey, nonetheless they like to obtain them.”

The deal is predicted to speed up the expansion of the Airport AI resolution amongst world airports, past its present portfolio of over 80 airports.
